Baker

Hello there! I'm Kacey the owner of Flour Power Bakery based in Sydney, Australia.

Who am I?

I'm a Professionally trained pastry chef who moved to Sydney from London in 2018. I became vegan back in 2021 during the pandemic and have continued baking fully vegan cakes ever since! Perfecting the classic British and Aussies bakes into delicious vegan cakes has been the best challenge. I have over 10 years of experience in Pastry kitchens and hope to change way that we think about Plant based baking.  

I moved to Australia for the coastal life, and enjoy camping, surfing and being as outdoors as possible. You'll either find me in the kitchen or the ocean!

Baking for a good cause

I have ran multiple charity bake sales and taken part in vegan sausage sizzles across Sydney to help raise money for an amazing small Australia wide charity.

The Rabbit Sanctuary is a volunteer run non-profit organisation giving left behind and forgotten bunnies a second chance at life. This charity is particularly important to me as I have adopted 3 rescue bunnies to join my family from them, Daisy, Parsley and Henry.

​

Rather than adopting more bunnies (which is very tempting), I try to help this amazing charity with bunny themed baked goods and spreading the bunny love!

​

To date I have raised over $3000 from bake sales.

Where to find me

Flour power has been based in Rozelle Collectors Market since 2023. You can find me there Saturdays 9am -3pm (weather depending!)

​

I offer a weekly changing large selection of cakes, tarts, cookies and what I like to call "The Classics". 

Being English you'll find some classics like flapjack, rocky road and lemon drizzle. As well as Aussie classics that I've learned to love like lamingtons and Anzac biscuits.​ I'm also always open to baking a customer favourite so let me know what you want on the menu!
